What to bring?
Change.ink will provide pens, paper, writing prompts, soft music.
You can bring your laptop, headphones, personal materials.
When can you join?
You are welcome from 20.00 onwards. If you come in the beginning, you will get the chance to hear more about the project and meet others. If you want to show up later, please arrive during one of the breaks. Note that Grand Café Utopie will be open to the general public from 17:00 hrs onward. You are welcome to enjoy a donation-based meal at our Community Table prior to joining this workshop, between 18:00 and 19:00 hrs. Please reserve your meal here.
Costs?
This event is entirely free of charge, as change.ink’s goal is to make creative expression accessible and provide a third space for all those that wish to write at night. Message from change.ink: if you can, please do try to order drinks or food at our lovely venue, Grand Cafe Utopie, as they are offering it for this event for free.
Ground Rules
This is an inclusive and safe space for all backgrounds, genders and ethnicities. Although there will be background music and chatter from other guests, please keep quiet at the writing table to allow for concentration. During the chat breaks, remember to be respectful of all participants. Change.ink wants to create an environment that allows everyone to be vulnerable and authentic. Join them if you’re ready to explore this side of you!
About change.ink
change.ink aims to make art accessible for all by bringing down financial barriers that hinder creative expression in the Dutch society. How can we tackle social issues, global challenges, and future uncertainties that gloom over our generation without being able to express freely?
change.ink has two goals:
1. Support creative expression for personal & societal change, creating a platform for accessible arts
2. Provide a creative third place at night-time, an alternative and community-oriented space to exist for free
